Travel Makeup Essentials
Less is more when travelling, look for multitasking products in travel friendly packaging.
1. Giorgio Armani Ecailles face & cheek duo, with one half flattering dusty rosy cheek shade and the other half soft ivory shimmering highlighter. Great for contouring and adding a dash of pink to your cheeks. I had mine for a while now, it can be a little hard to come by, for something similar try CLÉ DE PEAU BEAUTÉ CHEEK COLOR DUO.
2. Burberry Complete Eye Palette in Mocha, a perfectly balanced neutral palette comes in a pouch and mini brushes for on the go touch-ups. The eyeshadow formula is the best on the market, super soft almost buttery texture that adhere to the eyelid without tugging or streaking.
3. Becca Mineral Tinted SPF30+ Sunscreen, high performing mineral (zinc-oxide) based sunscreen with a hint of colour. Though it does not contain enough colour to wear as foundation, but it is a great primer for all makeup and gives the skin a healthy glow.
4. Bobbi Brown Long Wear Gel Liner, It's a top seller and when you try it there is no doubt why. It comes in a array of shimmering and neutral colours so there is a colour for every outfit and occasion. Great waterproof formula, it stays put when applied and now its only $35 so no reason not to love it.
5. Ellis Faas Skin veil Foundation Pen, Developed in Japan this dewy moistursing foundation contains SPF 15 sun protection and packaged in an elegant silver tube which is great for make application on the go. I would consider the coverage as medium, it does require some blotting and touch ups in hot humid weathers. Best suited for normal, comb to dry skin types who desire a light natural coverage.
6. Giorgio Armani High Precision Retouch, High performing, hardworking concealer that highlights, conceals and moisturises with a does of Vitamin-E to pamper and radiant the delicate eye area. It comes in a tiny tube but still lasts a long time. Buy here for a great price!
