SAINT LAURENT CLASSIC TRIBUTE SANDAL

I just bought a pair of SAINT LAURENT CLASSIC TRIBUTE 75 SANDAL IN POWDER PATENT LEATHER. I have been wanting a pair of Saint Laurent for a long time but it's just so hard to choose from all those beautiful yet classic YSL designs. 

Finally I decided to splurge on a pair of Classic Tribute sandals. It arrived on Friday and it was very exiting opening the beautiful YSL box tied with black bow. Inside, other than the beautiful shoes it contains a black satin shoe bag and a thick envelop with receipt and a YSL compliment card. 

I bought the 75 (indicating the heal height) the alternative is the  105 which I tried in the shops, it felt too high for me to be able to stand in them all night. Between 75 and 105 there is about 2 inches difference but the platform is about the same. 

They are made from calf leather which is really soft and feels really comfortable, though I haven't gone for a long walk in them but no part was gigging or pinching my feet. The only down side about the shoes is that the straps are a bit too long for me, even on the tightest loop it was still a bit too big. :( my feet are just so dam small.

The color I bought was POWDER which is a light beige/ I do wish it was a bit warmer and closer to skin color. It is a very versatile color and YSL also has a clutch and bags in matching colour. 

Overall I it's a great pair of sandal, the heel is comfortable enough for weekend lunches, going out or even for work.I'm going through a YSL phase, my next splurge with YSL will probably be the wallet.
